著名教育学家乌申斯基说:“没有任何兴趣,而被迫进行的学习,会扼杀学生掌握知识的意愿。”在小学英语教学中,表现学生个性最显著心理特征是他的学习兴趣。激发和培养学生学习的兴趣是获得知识、形成技能和发展智力的重要前提。小学生容易好动、注意力不易集中,他们的注意力以无意注意为主,对于非常感兴趣的事,主动性越强,注意力越集中、越稳定。教师应该充分认识到这个教学理念,充分调动学生学习英语的兴趣,也就是给学生创造学习英语兴趣的条件。
