油茶花果的脱落,是长期以来影响增产的一个严重问题。据我们在江西各地定点观察的结果,全林落蕾一般为5—10%,落花为10—22%,落果达20—35%,严重的地区和植株高达80.0%以上,甚至有的全株失收。落花落果的原因是十分复杂的,它不仅与品种、授粉、林龄、气候、土壤及栽培技术等有密切关系,而且与病虫害、机械损伤成有机地联系。这些因子概括起来可以分为内部生理和外来损伤两个方面。现就我们自1958—1962年在南昌定点观察和在宜春、进贤地区调查试验所得的初步结果综述如后:一、观察点的自然环境南昌属于亚热带,年平均温度17℃以七,绝对高温40℃,绝对低温—10℃;年降雨总量一般
