MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of non-coding endogenous small RNA molecules that affect the stability and / or translation of mRNAs and play a role in cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, gene regulation and disease, especially in tumors Important role. miRNAs can be widely involved in the occurrence and development of tumors with similar functions as protooncogenes or tumor suppressors. Recent studies have shown that miRNAs may be closely related to multidrug resistance of tumors. This review summarizes the progress of miRNAs in biological characteristics, physiological functions, mechanism of action, and the relationship between tumors and multidrug resistance.
