构建了甜菜坏死黄脉病毒(BNYVV)RNA4全长核苷酸序列以及5种编码区突变体的侵染性cDNA克隆.不同结构的RNA4体外转录物与只含有RNA1,2和3的BNYVV分离物总RNAs混合后分别接种寄主植物番杏(Tetragonia expansa)作为毒源,繁殖后接种甜菜,利用无毒甜菜多黏菌(Polymyxa betae)进行传毒实验.结果表明,RNA4编码区内各种缺失突变均能显著地抑制多黏菌的传播,但插入4个碱基的移码突变体对传毒没有影响,说明BNYVV RNA4中的部分核苷酸序列对于被真菌介体高效传播是必需的,并且可能是在RNA水平上具有功能.
