体积概念的建立是学生空间观念形成过程中的一次重要的飞跃,它标志着儿童在认识二维空间的基础上,开始认识三维空间,即由认识平面图形上升到认识立体图形。因此,体积概念的教学在整个小学几何图形知识教学中占有极为重要的地位。体积单位的掌握既有助于学生进一步理解体积概念,又是推导体积计算公式必备的基础知识。体积概念和体积单位的知识掌握得好不好,会直接影响学生对长方形、正方体、圆柱体、圆锥体等有关知识的理解和掌握。下面就这些知识的教学谈几点看法。 一、要充分利用直观手段建立体积概念
