阎锡山(1883-1960)宇伯川,山西五台人。一九一○年任山西新军标统,一九一二年被袁世凯任命为山西都督,一九二七年任国民革命军北方总司令,一九三二年任太原绥靖公署主任。一九三七年抗战爆发后,任第二战区司令长官,开始尚积极作战,战争进入相持阶段后,积极反共、勾结日伪、压榨人民。抗战胜利后,积极参与发动反人民内战,一九四七年改任太原绥靖公署主任,一九四九年六月任国民党政府的行政院长,十二月去台湾,一九六○年五月二十三日在台北病逝。
Yan Xishan (1883-1960) Uber Chuan, Shanxi, five people. In 1910 he served as Shanxi New Army standard system, was appointed by Yuan Shikai Shanxi captaincy in 1912, commander-in-chief of the National Revolutionary Army in 1927, and chief of the Pacification Office of Taiyuan in 1932. After the outbreak of the war of resistance in 1937, he was commander of the second theater. At the very beginning his war was still on active ground. After the war entered a phase of stalemate, he actively opposed the communists and colluded with Japan and forcing the people. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he actively participated in launching a civil war against the people. He became the chief of the Pacification Office of Taiyuan in 1947, the chief administrative officer of the Kuomintang government in June 1949, and went to Taiwan in December. Died on January 23 in Taipei.
