This paper first discusses the problem of multi-factor optimization in structural design, discusses the application principles and application steps of the optimization method which combines the orthogonal design method and the finite element method, introduces the orthogonal optimization computer program, and uses the Shuikou Hydropower Station Prestressed pier anchorage arrangement and tonnage optimization program selection, anchor beam prestress loss assessment of the two worst cases of application examples to further clarify its optimization.
