Jane Eyre and Butterfly Dream are two enduring feminist literary works in the history of British literature in the 19th and 20th centuries. Two twists and turns of love story reflects its author by the traditional domination of patriarchal culture and personal feelings of repression caused by the desire to vent each of the works portrayed the rational heroine and the other is relatively irrational or weird other types of women character. Writers Charlotte Bronte and Daphne DuMurier both agree and rewrite the patriarchal culture of women’s role norms, reflecting the writer’s own identity anxiety.
