美洲致公堂是晚清时期重要的海外华侨组织,也是中国致公党的前身。1904年孙中山加入美洲洪门,对致公堂进行了一系列的改革,并于1911年决定同盟会会员一律加入致公堂。辛亥革命时期,美洲致公堂积极筹款支援革命,它所捐助的大量经费成为辛亥革命起义经费的主要来源:洪门致公堂众多成员也是广州起义、黄花岗起义、惠州起义等一系列革命活动中的主要成员,黄花岗72烈士中有68人是洪门中人。美洲洪门致公堂为辛亥革命的成功作出了巨大的贡献和牺牲。《致公堂与辛亥革命》记录了这段历史渊源。
The court of the Americas is an important overseas Chinese organization in the late Qing period and the predecessor of the Chinese government-sponsored party. In 1904, Sun Yat-sen joined the American floodgate, conducted a series of reforms to the court and decided in 1911 that alliance members should join the court. During the Revolution of 1911, the United States chanted the court to actively raise funds to support the revolution. The large amount of funds it donated to became the major source of funding for the 1911 uprising. Many members of Hong Kong’s Cause Chamber were also among a series of revolutionary activities such as the Guangzhou Uprising, the Huanghuagang Uprising and the Huizhou Uprising Of the main members, Huanghuagang 72 martyrs, 68 people are Hung Men. The floodgates of the Americas caused great contributions and sacrifices to the success of the 1911 Revolution. The Cause of the Church and the Revolution of 1911 document this historical origins.
