潘阆是北宋初期著名的文人,虽然潘阆目前流传于世的词作只有十首半,但他在词史上的地位却不容轻忽。潘阆的词整体上呈现出过渡特点,用词描写山水风光,抒发隐逸情怀。其诗词多浪漫色彩,笔调清新淡雅。《酒泉子》十首一改晚唐绮丽婉转的柔媚之风,将士大夫情怀融于山水风光中,为词创造了新的审美境界,表现出鲜明的个性特征。
