The Perry Foundation in Scotland decided to set aside £ 88,000 for Scottish Agricultural College as a research project to develop natural antimicrobials that are effective against some of the most serious crop diseases. This is a collaboration between Stan Deans and Katerina Svoboda of the College and Professor Peter Waterman of Stratholyde.
