Peter the Great was a very enlightened monarch who used a pseudonym of Miylov to disguise himself as a normal tourist and begin European travel. In Nuremberg, Germany, he saw that a primary school named Dusseldorf was hiring a Russian teacher and was hospitable to apply for the result. He was admitted.
