一、本刊是古脊椎动物学及有关问题(含脊椎动物化石的生物地层学、埋藏学、古生态、古气侯、古环境等)研究的学术期刊.全年出版四期,每逢1、4、7、10月份出版.二、本刊主要读者对象是国内外古生物学、地质学、生物学、考古学和博物馆学等方面的研究者、教师和学生.三、本刊登载的文章包括专门性论文、报道、学术动态、书刊和文章的评介、综述以及国内外工作方法和经验的介绍等.四、来稿注意事项:1.来稿若用钢笔(或圆珠笔)抄写,则要求用16开方格稿纸誊写清楚,标点符号占一格,字迹要求工整,切忌潦草.文稿亦可用微机打印.文字力求精练,用语确切.
