梅山人是古湘楚文化圈中十分特别而重要的一支,是与古梅山的地理环境,历史渊流,宗教信仰,文化载体,民俗风情经过长期实践发展、积累,从而锻造出一种英勇顽强、刻苦耐劳、血腥霸蛮、敢于担当等一种共同的品格。人物形象是来源于生活,却又高于生活的,它是在一定的生活原型基础上,经过提炼和艺术加工,借助音乐、构图、舞美等因素,塑造出的具有特定主体思想和客体形态的形象。梅山人物的的编创从梅山的古代人物、现代人物及当代人物来选材立意。组建整个舞蹈结构,使是整个人物变成有灵魂,有骨架、有血肉的活生生的人物。
The Meishan people are a very special and important one in the ancient Xiang Chu culture circle.
