In the 25km north of Lushan County in Henan Province, there is an ancient tomb in which the famous Tang Dynasty writer and poet Yuan Jie rests for a long time. There is a thing in front of the tomb and a pair of couplets are embedded on both sides of the tomb gate, carved into two bluestones. 5 feet high and 6 inches wide. The couplets are made up of only two characters, which are incomparably subtle and puzzling. Jointly: “Golden Drum, Golden Drum, Golden Drum, Golden Drum, Golden Drum, Gold Drum.” This pair of Lian Qi is odd to use the “Gold Drum” in the upper and lower associations. Repeatedly, from top to bottom, confrontation, rigorous structure, full of charm, no sense of duplication. However, due to Yuan Yuan’s location in remote forests and wilderness, literati and writers rarely get involved. history
