“北大是常为新的。”说这话的是最著名的北大讲师鲁迅。 “北大新在哪里?集中到一点就是新人辈出,新思想、新观念、新成果层出不穷。”说这后一句话的是现任北大校长许智宏院士。眼下,就有一桩北大人正在“为”的新事牵引着人们的瞩自——几名“山鹰社”的成员,要登顶珠穆朗玛峰。瞩目之余,人们也有纳闷:放着好好的书不念,要去登什么山? 其实,这样的纳闷未免多余。要不敢为天下先,还能算是北大人么? 北大的“常为新”已经是一种内在的气质!
