自今年春天以来,改革、开放、发展、创收一直是全国热烈讨论的课题,连我们身在海外的人,也都能感受到这份冲力。来到大陆,体验更深。也正因为看到出版界的朋友,个个摩拳擦掌,想要开创出一个新的局面。我特别选了这个题目,谈谈中文书刊在美国市场的开拓和推销,提出一些粗浅的看法。在中美建交以前,中华人民共和国的出版物在美国相当受限制,除了专业的研究图书馆和政府机构经过特殊渠道进口以外,一般市场几乎见不到。我工作的单位加州大学
Since the spring of this year, reform, opening up, development and revenue generation have been the hot topics of discussion in the whole country. Even our overseas residents can feel this momentum. Came to the mainland, experience more deeply. It is also because of the publishing industry to see friends, all gearing up, you want to create a new situation. I specially selected this topic to talk about the Chinese books in the United States market development and marketing, put forward some superficial views. Until the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, the publications of the People’s Republic of China were rather restricted in the United States.
