At present, the control rate of hypertension is close to 50%. Most patients are able to effectively control blood pressure with antihypertensive treatment, however, only those who are medically compliant can effectively control their hypertension, and those with poor compliance also need other interventions. The study sought to determine the clinical feasibility and predictive role of a simple, quick response to self-reported medication adherence in patients and to identify characteristics of hypertensive patients who require greater care from their caregivers to achieve better self-management of hypertension.
