北京军区给水工程团团长李国安模范事迹已在包括中国水利报在内各大报纸刊出,在人民群众中引起了强烈反响。水利部去年初授予李国安“草原水神”称号。目前中央军委主席江泽民签署命令,授予他“模范团长”的光荣称号。今年1月23日,中共中央宣传部、中央直属机关工委、中央机关工委、水利部、解放军总政治部在人民大会堂联合举办李国安同志先进事迹报告会,一个全国性的深入学习李国安同志高潮,正在全国开展起来。李国安既是人民军队的一位团长,也是我们钻井战线上的一名指挥者,所以“模范团长”李国安的出现不仅是人民军队的光荣,也是我们全国地下水工作者的光荣。
Li Guoan, head of the Beijing Military Region Water Supply Engineering Corps, has gone public on major newspapers including China Water Resources Daily and aroused strong repercussions among the people. Ministry of Water Resources early last year awarded Li Guoan “grassland god of water” title. At present, Chairman Jiang Zemin of the Central Military Commission has signed an order granting him the glorious title of “model leader.” On January 23 this year, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Work Committee directly under the Central Government, the Work Committee of the Central Authorities, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the General Political Department of the People’s Liberation Army jointly held an advanced deeds report meeting of Comrade Li Guoan in the Great Hall of the People. A nationwide study tour of Comrade Li Guoan Climax is being carried out nationwide. Li Guoan is both a leader of the People’s Army and a conductor on our drilling front. Therefore, the emergence of “model leader” Li Guoan is not only the honor of the People’s Army but also the honor of our country’s groundwater workers.
