邮电部、《中国少年报》社和北京市邮政局于1983年10月11日在“二七”剧场联合召开了“国际少年书信写作比赛”发奖大会,北京市原阜城路学校王忠群同学荣获1983年度比赛第一名金质奖,获国内奖的是北京育才中学的刘元元同学。万国邮政联盟每年举办一次“国际少年书信写作比赛”,其目的是为了培养少年儿童的写作能力,宣传邮政的作用,增进国际间儿童的友谊。今年是我国少年儿童第三次参加这项比赛,题目
