工会图书馆是我国社会主义文化事业的重要组成部分,是图书馆事业中的一个重要类型。据1991年底统计,我国工会系统图书馆(室)有19万个,不仅在数量上居全国各类型图书馆之首,而且它所拥有的庞大读者群,亦名列全国各类型图书馆之冠。它在提高职工队伍的整体素质,推动工矿企业两个文明的建设中,有着不可替代的作用。 在当前深化改革、发展市场经济和企业转换经营机制的新形势下,拥有最广泛读者的工会图书馆应重视读者阅读需求的调查分析,有的放矢地作好
The trade union library is an important part of China’s socialist cultural undertaking and an important type of library undertaking. According to statistics at the end of 1991, there were 190,000 libraries of trade unions in our country (chambers), ranking the first among all types of libraries in the country in terms of quantity, and the vast readership that it possesses ranks among the top libraries in the country . It plays an irreplaceable role in improving the overall quality of the workforce and promoting the construction of the two civilizations in the industrial and mining enterprises.
