美育,即审美教育,也叫美感教育、情感教育。研究美学,实施审美教育,其最终的目的是实现人类自身的美化,语文教育的审美教育也不例外。学生是审美的主体,语文教育肩负工具性和人文性的使命。因此,在语文教学中,为了确保美育的实现,教师关注学生审美主体,研究学生审美心理,培养学生审美能力,从而实现学生作为人的美化就显得至关重要。
