There are two types of wood-based herbal medicines, Guan Mu Tong and Chuan Mu Tong. They were collected in the 1 995th edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. They have similar effects, but differ in their origins. The former is Aristolochia northeast of Aristolochia manshuriensis Kom. The dry cane; the latter is the dry cane of the Ranunculus oleifera Clematis armandii Franch. and the hyacinth vine C.montana Buch Ham.r [
