玛尔挡地处高海拔缺氧区,机械、人员效率明显偏低;工程区两岸岸坡陡峻,河谷狭窄,沿河公路布置困难,过坝交通洞、施工支洞与导流洞并行布置;导流洞工程具有进出口边坡高陡、洞室开挖断面大、体形复杂、工程量大等特点。导流洞工程于2012年3月31日正式开工,采取调整增设施工支洞、进口强行进洞、增设通风排烟、工期提前奖励和现场四方协商处理机制等措施,工程于2013年11月5日完工(剩余工程不影响截流),并于2013年11月28日实现过流,工程至今运行良好。其现场管理经验可供类拟工程项目借鉴和参考。
