蒙特利尔音乐厅拥有独特的空间外形,是一个专为蒙特利尔交响乐团和其他音乐演出设计的建筑。高而窄的空间比例来源于传统的鞋盒型剧场设计。大礼堂的墙壁经过细心的测量,制作成弯曲的形状。除了清晰的视角,高层楼座可以起到扩散声音为作用,观众更加亲近艺术家,融入演出环境。这种空间形状是由本建筑事务所与声学顾问公司共同设计的。空间构造的设计是基于是十年来音乐厅设计的经验与传达美妙音乐的技术,塑造了一个优良的声效环境和保证观众与艺术家之间的密切互动。
With a unique spatial profile, the Montreal Concert Hall is a building specifically designed for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and other musical performances. High and narrow space ratio from the traditional shoe box theater design. The auditorium walls were carefully measured and made into a curved shape.
