对大部分人来说,晏阳初也许是个陌生的名字,即便不是完全陌生,恐怕也不甚了解,只是有所耳闻罢了。或许有人会问:“晏阳初是谁?”“他是干嘛的?”“他厉害吗?”这大概是我们在读一本书之前一定会问的问题,生怕将时间和精力枉费了。那么我想说,晏阳初是一个值得你去花心思了解的人,无论是他本人在中国和世界教育史上所做的贡献,还是他个人的品格与情怀,都是配得上后人对他的怀念与景仰的。晏阳初(1890~1990),原名兴复,又名遇春,小名云霖,字阳初,寓意“复兴国族、旭日之初”。
For most people, Yan Yangchu may be a strange name, even if it is not completely unfamiliar, I am afraid I do not quite understand, but I heard something. Yan Yangchu (1890 ~ 1990), formerly known as Xing Fu, also known as Yuchun, nickname Yunlin, the word Yang early, meaning “revival of the nation, the beginning of the sun ”.
