应用有限元方法求解了任意径向非均匀折射率分布圆柱对称介质波导中纵向场耦合波动方程定解问题所对应的变分问题 ,该方法不受弱导或高斯模场分布等限制。可方便地求解光纤中介质波导的模场分布。用此方法研究了带阶跃环的三角型分段折射率分布光纤中归一化模场半径与芯层传输功率及总传输功率比值随光纤不同结构参数的变化规律。
Finite element method is used to solve the variational problem of the solution to the problem of longitudinal field coupled wave equation in a cylindrical symmetric dielectric waveguide with arbitrary radial non-uniform refractive index distribution. The method is not limited by the distribution of weak guide or Gaussian mode field. The mode field distribution of waveguide in fiber can be easily solved. The variation law of the ratio of normalized mode field radius to core transmission power and total transmission power with different structure parameters of optical fiber was studied by using this method.
