当前,世界各国学前教育呈现出日益国际化的趋势。随着教育要“三个面向”的方针的执行,我国的学前教育也正在逐步走向世界。面对这一发展趋势,结合我国正在进行的教育改革以及学前教商的发展前景,每一个学前教育理论工作者和实践工作得不得不考虑“中国的学前教育向国外学习些什么”这一重要课题。学前教育从零岁开始学前教育得到普遍的重视还只是本世纪二十年代以后的事情,而在其发展过程中,变化最大的可能要数学前教育概念的发展。目前,国际上比较公认的早期教育的概念是指八岁以下的儿童的教育和教养,大部分国家的学前教育(或幼儿教育)的对象是从出生开始到入小学前的儿童。可见,幼儿教育的概念已经扩展,它是指0—6(7)岁年龄段
