ProLiant Servers: Insight Manager and Remote Management Compaq InsightManager provides fault, configuration, and performance management to monitor and control the operation of your Compaq servers and clients, including PCs, PC Servers, and AlphaServers. Compaq Insight Manager consists of two components: one is a console application based on the Windows interface, and the other is a management agent based on a server or client. For better remote management capabilities, Compaq introduced the Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition hardware management solution that allows users to effectively manage machines in any state at any time, understand the status of the equipment, and Proceed accordingly.
