1985年国际第四届水文会议是由美国土木工程师协会、柯罗拉多分会、美国地理联合会水文学分会、水资源管理方法国际水文研究协会分会、水力学随机方法国际水文研究协会分会、水文科学国际协会,以及国际水资源协会等六个单位联合发起的。参加会议的国家有:中、美、英、德、加、法、意、澳、波、瑞士、瑞典、巴西、西班牙、墨、捷、南、阿根廷、南非洲等二十余个国家。会议主持单位有柯罗拉多州立大学、华盛顿大学、美国农业研究所、普渡大学、美国天气局、美国地质局、肯达基大学等。
In 1985, the Fourth International Hydrological Conference was sponsored by the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Colorado Branch, the American Geological Confederation Hydrology Branch, the International Hydrographic Research Association for Water Resources Management Methodology Branch, the Hydraulics Random Method Association for Hydrological Research Branch, International Association, and the International Water Resources Association, six units jointly launched. The participating countries include more than 20 countries including China, the United States, Britain, Germany, Canada, France, Italy, Australia, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Czech Republic, South Africa, Argentina and South Africa. The conference hosts Colorado State University, Washington University, the American Institute of Agriculture, Purdue University, the US Department of weather, the United States Bureau of Geology, Kendaji University.
