本文给出交流等离子体显示板的定量特性研究结果。我们研制出一条新的特性曲线,称之为壁电压输入输出(WVIO)曲线。这条简单的变换曲线,表征气体放电前后壁电压数值的关系。由于测量WVIO曲线冗长乏味,为了实时、自动测量和绘制这些曲线,我们研制出计算机控制硬件系统和必要的算法。这使得从交流等离子体板获得的详细特性数据增加几个数量级。本文给出这些数据中最有意义的特征,并给出反映维持波形、引火、电极结构和混合气体影响的详细数据。
In this paper, we present the quantitative results of AC plasma display panels. We have developed a new characteristic curve, called the wall voltage input output (WVIO) curve. This simple transformation curve characterizes the relationship between the voltage values before and after gas discharge. Due to the tedium of measuring the WVIO curve, we developed a computer-controlled hardware system and the necessary algorithms for real-time, automatic measurement and plotting of these curves. This adds several orders of magnitude to the detailed characterization data obtained from AC plasma panels. This paper presents the most meaningful features of these data and gives detailed data that reflects the effects of sustaining waveforms, ignition, electrode structures, and gas mixtures.
