柿蒂虫是柿子生产的主要害虫。柿蒂虫姬蜂对柿蒂虫的寄生率高达70%左右,表现出对柿蒂虫良好的控制作用。它随寄主一年发生2代,以幼虫在寄主体内越冬。越冬代成虫羽化期和柿蒂虫羽化期吻合。羽化时刻以8～11时为高峰期,活动性在13～14时最剧烈。羽化后第2天开始产卵。白僵菌对柿蒂虫及桃小食心虫致病性强,其菌落圆形,平坦,在25～27℃生长最快。用白僵菌399亿/m~2处理土壤表层后12天内桃小食心虫出土幼虫病死率40.9%。
