蒙河是袁河的主要支流之一。发源于新余、上高、高安三市(县)交界处的蒙山南麓白云山下。主流流经新余市渝水区、清江县的7个乡,在清江县黄岗乡港口朱家村注入袁河。主流全长57.5公里,流域面积476平方公里。流域内包括新余市渝水区及清江、上高、高安县等一区三县的9个乡,74个行政村。共有人口2.9万户,计14.76万人,有耕地26.2万亩(其中水田19.62万亩,旱地6.58万亩)。由于流域内水旱灾害频繁,经宜春行署批准,于1977年由新余市渝水区及清江县组织人力物力进行了综合治理。第一期工程包括:裁弯取直主河道4
Menghe is one of the major tributaries of the Yuan River. Originated in Xinyu, on high, high security three city (county) at the junction of the south of Mont Blanc Baiyun Mountain. The mainstream flows through Yushu District of Xinyu City, Qingjiang County, seven townships, Huangjiang Township, Qingjiang County, Zhu Jia Village into the Yuan River. The total length of 57.5 kilometers, the basin area of 476 square kilometers. The basin includes 9 townships and 74 administrative villages in Yushui and Qingjiang, Xuanao and Gao’an Counties in Xinyu City. A total population of 29,000, accounting for 147,600 people, there are 262,000 acres of arable land (paddy fields 196,200 mu, dry land 65,800 mu). Due to the frequent floods and droughts in the river basin, approved by Yichun Administrative Office, the project was comprehensively managed by Yushu in Xinyu City and Qingjiang County in 1977.
