一、曾国藩不能退出官场同治六年(1867)九月十日晚上,曾国藩与他的心腹幕僚和心爱弟子赵烈文进行过一次长达数小时的密谈。当时曾国藩心情非常不好,决意退出官场,赵烈文却反复劝慰曾国藩不能息肩,并建议他把妻子儿女兄弟都接出来。曾国藩最后完全听进了赵烈文的意见。赵烈文《能静居日记》记录这次谈话内容长达三千字,当天的《曾国藩日记》也写下了这样一段文字:夜,惠甫来久谈,力劝余接全眷来署,
