一、前言天然镁矿石是炼钢用镁砂和合成镁白云石砂的重要原料,它的纯度是影响耐火强度的一个重要因素。长期来,由于我国对镁质耐火材料的质量要求不高,只需开采一级品富镁矿即可满足生产普通镁砂的需要。因此,对矿石原料的合理开发和利用一直没有引起足够的重视。此外,由于资源丰富,得天独厚,又处于冶金辅助原料价格低廉这一“特殊”地位,对进一步提高矿石的质量和利用率的问题,在冶金战线上长期是个薄弱环节,以致造成资源浪费严重,利用率低,质量日趋下降这样一种被动局面。近年来,随着冶金工业的发展,炼钢工艺的强化,新炼钢法的应用,引进技术以及适应国际镁砂市场的需要,突出地反映了我国镁矿石的开采现状和镁砂质量已不能满足要求。为此,合理利用矿石资源并提高质量是我国当前一项十分紧迫的任务。几年来,
