阳历的6月6日,是夏收秋种的日子,为芒种节。节后十日,即6月16日,是周恒刚先生仙逝的日子,享年86岁。从2004年起,迄今已十年。十年,改变了许多,不变的是酒业中人对同恒刚先生与日俱增的敬重和不绝如缕的怀念。1918年9月28日出生于辽宁省旅大市(现大连市)的周恒刚,1937年至1942年就读于哈尔滨工业大学应用化学科。1949年4月参加工作,历任东北专卖总局生产处技师、哈汞滨酒精厂工程师、东北烟酒总公司工程师,轻工业部烟酒局、食品局工程师。1972年8月,出任河北省廊坊地区轻工业局副局长,高级工程师,此后又先后兼任中国食品工业协会理事,河北省食品工业协会副会长、中国白酒专业委员会名誉会长等职。他是第五,第六、第七届全国人大代表、全国科技在会代表,全国劳动模范,燕在全国第二、三、四届评酒
