This paper introduces the basic principles of artificial neural network and the commonly used feedforward network model, and applies the model theory to reservoir optimal scheduling. The characteristics and advantages of the neural network model of reservoir optimal scheduling are described in detail. The feasibility of this method is proved by engineering examples.
