旅游景区的规划大多鉴于这一地区在某一领域独特的景观特点,在国家乃至世界范围内产生了一定的影响,从历史的角度、自然物态的角度或是从民族文化的角度,采撷到人们所感兴趣的方面,从而吸引越来越多的游客进行观光走访。利用景区的特定历史价值与地域特色来创造系列旅游纪念品,对旅游景区的发展具有相辅相成的作用,一方面对于营造景区的氛围,扩大景区的宣传起到了推波助澜的作用,同时,景区以其独特的资源为旅游纪念品的设计与开发提供了历史文化参照与形象创作元素。锡提亚迷城作为近年来新开发的人文旅游景区,把旅游景观与旅游纪念品二者之间的关系运用的恰到好处,成为旅游纪念品设计新渠道与新途径。
