用圆盘锯锯木头、塑料或金属所产生的噪声是令人讨厌的,它会引起操作者和在附近工作的其他人听力逐渐丧失,使人耳聋。由锯齿和被切材料相互冲击所引起的锯片振动,是产生噪声的主要原因。这是一个具有世界意义的重要问题。美国职业安全与健康法(OSHA)中规定,对于在噪声中每天工作8小时的工人,噪声级应限制为90分贝(A),现有控制噪声的方法普遍不能满足这个要求。控制圆盘锯噪声的装置和方法,长期以来进展甚微。
The noise produced by sawing wood, plastic or metal with a circular saw is troublesome and causes hearing loss and deafness to the operator and others working nearby. The vibration of the saw blade caused by the mutual impact between sawtooth and the cut material is the main reason for the noise. This is an important issue of global significance. The OSHA stipulates that the noise level should be limited to 90 dB (A) for workers who work 8 hours a day in noise, and that the current method of noise control generally fails to meet this requirement. The devices and methods for controlling the circular saw noise have had little progress for a long time.
