实施千里汾河清水复流是贯彻落实省第九次党代会精神,建设山川秀美新山西的一项重要举措,也是今年省人代会《政府工作报告》中明确的具体任务。省委书记、省人大常委会主任张宝顺曾多次视察汾河,并两次作出批示,在5月23日的批示中指出:汾河是山西的母亲河,治理汾河事关山西发展大局和沿河人民的切身利益。要在科学发展观指导下,以生态建设为重点,努力实现流域内经济社会协调发展、人与自然和谐相处,为建设新基地、新山西创造良好的生态环境。
