油画在中国的民族化是近些年受到文化界普遍关注的一个问题,有人称之为“中国油画”的创造,其主旨指中国油画家应创作出有别于他国(主要指西方和苏联)的具有自己本民族特色的油画艺术。这就要求油画创作必须走出全方位模仿的阶段和盲从状态,重视中华民族性情和文化特色的体现,从而实现中国油画真实的民族个性。在这条探索的道路上,王风华可说是最年轻的画家中较优秀的一位。
The nationalization of oil painting in China is a problem that has drawn the general concern of the cultural circles in recent years. Some people call it the creation of “Chinese oil painting.” The main thrust of this is that Chinese oil painters should create something different from other countries (mainly the West and the Soviet Union) With its own national characteristics of oil painting art.
