长期以来,重庆市工商联(总商会)餐饮商会立足行业,致力于关注青年成长,服务青年成才,增强了地方行业商会对餐饮企业的引领作用。在共青团重庆市委的领导与支持下,重庆市工商联(总商会)餐饮商会于2013年12月14日正式成立了“共青团重庆市餐饮行业委员会”(简称“重庆餐饮业团委”)。“重庆餐饮业团委”的成立,将进一步强化餐饮业团建工作的组织保障,增强广大餐饮从业人员的荣誉感和归属感,为餐饮从业队伍的稳定、从业者素质的提升、行业的持续健康发展,提供源源不断的动力支持。同时,在共青团重庆市委与重庆市工商联(总商会)餐饮商会共同指导下正式成立了重庆市青年名厨联谊会。“联谊会”由重庆市工商联副主席、总商会餐饮商会会长严琦担任名誉会长,20名重庆餐饮商会
