Writers, politicians and journalists beginners’ news, probably all have heard of people saying that the press is a crossroads, that one road leads to the political sector and that one road leads to the literary world. The first thing that came to light in the history of Chinese news came to the attention of a group of politically-minded reporters who are all-powerful like Liang Qichao, Zhang Taiyan and Qu Qiubai. Looking inside again, it is a square of noisy writer-type journalists, with familiar faces abound. However, after they made some inroads in the press, they finally succeeded in doing something a great undertaking. There are so few famous reporters under the roof of the news. In the years after the liberation, under the dual squeeze of the ultraleftist line and the feudal legacy, the news was once relegated to the policy map and even the “thugs” in the political arena. The way for Chinese journalists is getting narrower and narrower. There is only one way to act as a “wall politician”
