In the article entitled “PhD Thesis on Political Economy and the Realities of the World Economy”, Soviet Economic Times magazine No.10 in 1980 reported on the award of 20 doctoral degrees from the presidium of the Soviet Union’s Supreme Assessment Committee from May to June 1980 Entrance examiner to a doctorate in economics. The text of the present article is as follows: Aliyev (Baku): The economic effects of basic investments in state farms in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Akutov (Almaty): Production proceeds from state farms in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
