去年国务院召开了治理淮河、太湖会议,要加快治淮步伐,这是治淮历史的新里程碑,出现了第二次治淮高潮。淮河流域和社会上有识之士都非常关心治淮事业,希望能更多地了解治淮历史和现在的治淮进程。为此,对《治淮汇刊》有关的情况作一简单介绍: 1950年10月政务院作出了治理淮河的决定,成立治淮委员会具体承办治淮工程建设,当年冬天即开展轰轰烈烈的治理。1951年出版《治淮汇刊》第一辑,周恩来总理亲自为《汇刊》题字。《治淮汇刊》是把治淮工作中的大事和重要成果逐年记载下来,是年鉴性质的内部资料刊物,它辑录已经形成的文献和资料,每年刊出一辑。其目的既是为搞好当前治淮工作服务,亦是日后
