莆田市医院妇产科主任医师林秀娥行医近40年,完成各类手术近三万例,无一起事故,未收过一次“红包”,曾二次被评为福建省劳动模范,被授予全国先进工作者、全国卫生先进工作者、全国计生先进工作者、全国“三八”红旗手等荣誉称号,是全国“五一”劳动奖章和国务院特殊津贴获得者。医院先后被省卫生厅评为“廉政廉医建设先进单位”、“双十佳医院”、文明单位”又被卫生部和人事部联合授予“全国卫生系统先进集体”,被评定为国家级“爱婴医院”,并于1996年顺利通过了“三级乙等”医院的达标评定,1997年还被省卫生厅定为“创文明行业,建满意窗口”示范单位,“十佳医院”创建单位。林秀娥因医术超人、医德感人而深受闽中南人民的尊敬和爱戴,连续当选为六、七、八、九届全国人大代表。

It is also the winner of May 1st Labor Medal and the State Council Special Allowance. The hospital has been awarded the title of “Advanced Unit of Honest and Clean Government Construction” and “Double Top Ten Hospital” and “Civilized Unit” by the Provincial Department of Health. It was jointly awarded as “National Advanced Unit of Health System” by Ministry of Health and Ministry of Personnel and was awarded as “ Baby-friendly Hospital ”. In 1996, it passed the“ Class B ”hospital compliance assessment. In 1997, it was also designated as“ a civilized industry with a satisfactory window ”demonstration unit by the Provincial Department of Health and“ Top Ten Hospitals ” Lin Xiu’e was highly respected and loved by the people of Central South Fujian for medical superman and medical ethics and was successively elected as the six, seven, eight and nine NPC deputies.
