江泽民同志指出:“创新是一个民族进步的灵魂,是国家兴旺发达的不竭动力。”《中共中央国务院关于教育改革和发展纲要的决定》也明确强调:实施素质教育要以培养学生的创新能力为重点。而创新教育是以培养人的创新精神和创造能力为价值取向。创新教育的目标立足于基础性,着重培养学生创新意识、创新思维、创新技能等创造性素质。语文学科作为一门基础学科,包含着丰富的创新内涵,担负着创新教育的重任。为此,我们必须在语文教学中,根据创新教学特征,发挥这门基础学科的功能,有意识有目的地培养学生的创新能力。
