无锡市东林小学,创建于清光绪二十八年(1902年)夏,其前身是著名的东林书院。历经百年,薪火传衍,教泽绵长,培育了众多栋梁之才,积淀了丰厚的文化底蕴。学校先后被授予江苏省精神文明建设先进单位、依法治校示范校、教育科研先进集体、基础教育改革先进集体、艺术教育特色学校、绿色学校;无锡市文明单位、德育先进学校、教育国际合作交流先进学校等荣誉;学校多次承办省市区教育教学现场展示活动,在省内外有一定的影响力。
