There’s a saying going“The happiest thing in the world is to struggle for the ideal.”However,many people give up struggling because of lack of ambition.And as is known to all,the effort itself is suffering.So what can we find to give us a push to handle this problem?Maybe our desires for the future from the bottom of our hearts can help us out.And only if we have aims and struggle for it can our life become meaningful and colorful.
As students,struggling means keeping studying and not giving up as well as never be content with what we’ve learned.But there’re often two different phenomena. When others go shopping, play computer games or watch TV programmes, some students choose to sit in the classroom and study day and night.It seems miserable that they have no entertainments. And this kind of life can be insipid. Some people even approve that it’s crazy for them to work so diligently instead of playing cheerfully. So is it worthwhile ? Yes, of course!But what pushes them to do so?
Adolescence is the most significant stage of our life. To a large extent, it almost determines every step we will take in the aftertime. And it’s up to us whether we can go to our dream universities or not; it’s up to us what kind of life we want to live; and it’s up to us whether we’ll regret in the future.Therefore,what we need to do now is struggling.Only by doing so, can we not only get a key to the elite university,but also a ticket to a bright future.Besides,I always believe that the turning point in the process of growing up is when you discover the core of strength within you that supports you to struggle.So don’t waste your life; don’t cherish your time until losing it.Just continue to struggle and never give up.
The statesman, writer, historian and thinker in the Ming Dynasty—Songlian had poor family circumstances. Therefore, he had no condition to read books. Young as he was, he longed to learn to become a person who could make contributions to his country. So he had no alternative but to borrow books from others and copied them no matter how arduous the environment was. And to constantly strive for perfection, he made nothing of hardships to search for teachers to study. Despite the cold numbed his body, he never abandoned. In the end,he made himself an outstanding man, handing down a good reputation to a hundred generations. It was his ambition in the depth of his heart as well as his continuous struggle that prompted him to succeed.
But what consequences will it lead to when quitting fighting? There are vagrants all over the world beyond count, which bring about a great deal of trouble to the harmony of the soceity. “An idle youth a needy age.” Some of them didn’t exert themselves to prepare for their future. With the increasing of age, there’s not adequate time to regret but they must live on. To make ends meet,they cheat those who show sympathy for them by pretending to have deplorable experiences or disabled. With the lapse of time , many people don’t have the belief of truth, kindness and beauty, which makes against to the construction of harmonious socialist society. Others even threaten the cause of peace. They deadly desire everything that doesn’t belong to them and bitterly hate anyone living better than them. And to satisfy their selfishness, they break lows at all costs, causing heavy losses to the society. What will await them? Propaply be put into the prison or even be sentenced to death. It seems pitiful,dosen’t it? But as the saying goes“You reap what you sow.” They deserve it. These people mentioned above are poor in a way. But as Luxun said“The pathetic man certainly have something to be despised.”
