目前,卡拉干达煤田广泛采用的予先湿润煤层是提高采矿工作安全措施的方法之一。该煤田的180个回采工作面就有125个采用了予先湿润法。向煤层注水能降低空气中的煤尘、煤的硬度、掌子面和采落煤的瓦斯涌出量,降低煤对氧的吸附速度。为提高予先湿润的效果,选择了能在煤体中存在时间比较长的溶液、为了控制瓦斯涌出,选择了加入ДБ湿润剂(或者不加)的 NaCl、CaCl_2的电解质溶液和水玻璃
